Mailart of Downing Street

Artist Julia Elmore(that is her in both of the photos) very kindly offered to produce the mailart for Downing Street to accompany Positively Postal's interview with Tony Benn. Thank you very much Julia and here's what she had to say about making the piece:

"As I am sure you guessed, I was late finishing it off last night, but enjoyed every minute... thanks for the opportunity... it reminded me of things I used to do years ago, such as decorating every envelope I sent with freehand drawings. It was such fun and I think I need to do it more. I'd be happy to do something again - you might need to push me, but the challenge is good."

I will definitely be back in touch for more of the same Julia, remember there are two parts to this A-Z stamp project! Julia did also create a piece for Blackpool Tower.
