Positively Postal Mythical Creatures Postal Challenge

With six different types of Mythical Creatures featuring on these new stamps, Positively Postal is looking for any other stamps from all over the world with similar Mythical Creatures on them or possibly some different ones. If you know of or come across any others then please do either send them in or e-mail me details and I will add them to the Mythical Creatures feature and gallery. Postcards (bought or self-made) would also be most welcome!

Perhaps you have been inspired by these stamps and think you could create a set of Mythical Creatures "stamps" yourself. If so then please send them in and I will be pleased to display them.

Finally if you are feeling extra creative then why not write a short story featuring any, some or all of these Mythical Creatures and send it in - it is always good to receive post so do get writing!

A Mythical Creature card featuring Sandman, sent by Bonnie Jeanne of Postmuse using amongst others a "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" stamp to send it in, many thanks for that Bonnie - any other sendings still more than welcome!

The "mythical creature" Fluffy, as he is known in English but here shown in French as Touffu, from Harry Potter, sent in by Nina from Finland through Postcrossing - a very interesting mix of myth, language and modern culture all rolled into one!
